Cozy up by the fire

Someday I'd like to live in a home with a fireplace. I have fun memories of my mom's home and building fires in our fireplace.

Sometimes my mom would build a fire and make homemade hot cocoa for us. We'd watch a movie and then she'd let us girls drag our pillows and sleeping bags into the living room and have a sleepover by the fireplace. When we were little, we always thought this was a real treat.

Now that I'm older, I just love the look of a fireplace and how it can make a room feel so inviting and cozy. I'd also love to have a mantle to display pictures and knick knacks.
