I've heard AMAZING things about The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley...but haven't actually read it myself. :)

The Art of Racing in the Rain...if you like dogs at all, you'll LOVE this book. Actually, you don't even have to like dogs.
I recommend Dan Brown's Lost Symbol. If you liked The Da Vinci Code, you will like Lost Symbol. I think it is as good, if not better.
I just finished Angels and Demons so I was consider Lost Symbol. Great suggestions everyone!
